Main Duties
- To support the development of and implementation of the Lancashire Workforce Development Plan with particular emphasis on ensuring the needs of volunteers are met with in the plan
- To increase the number and quality of young people volunteering in sport through the effective delivery of the Lancashire Volunteer Programme with an emphasis on under represented groups
- To efficiently lead and manage relationships and resources to achieve the contracted targets for volunteers
- To raise awareness of and increase the take up of skills and educational opportunities in the sport and active recreation sector particularly amongst volunteers working closely with the network of higher and further education establishments and local authorities.
