Main Duties
- To ensure the successful delivery of the workforce priorities set out in the Lancashire CSP Workforce Development Plan
- To identify and procure relevant sources of funding to enable training and development to be delivered across the partnership
- To establish effective working relationships with senior staff in key organisations such as SkillsActive; the LSC; Higher Education ; FE; Regional Business Link and the NWDA
- To work closely with the Local Authorities; NGBs; Sports Volunteering NW; sportscoachUK and the Clusters/SPAAs to continually review training and development needs for all staff working in the sport sector throughout the County
- To develop more effective programmes for developing volunteers and coaches through working with relevant partners
- To identify quality training providers to work with and ensure that new training and development opportunities are developed to meet the needs of the entire workforce.
