Chief Superintendent Stuart Williams is the police Divisional Commander for the South of Lancashire, covering the area South of Preston to the Greater Manchester and Merseyside Borders. He represents the Constabulary in relation to the large area of its Diversity Strategy and as such sits as a member of the Board of Lancashire Sport Partnership. He has previously worked in a number of community, investigation and management roles across Lancashire and on National Secondments, and is keen to promote all aspects of Sport across the varied work of the Constabulary. In his spare time he is a keen sportsman representing the Police and Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Athletic Club in road and fell running, with previous interest and participation with local Rugby Union clubs.
