Lancashire Sport is fully committed to ensuring new and existing coaches working in Lancashire, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, are supported to develop their coaching knowledge and skills in order for them to provide high quality coaching opportunities in their coaching environments.
So Lancashire Sport can help coaches with their development and training, we now have an online coaching system that can support coaches by signposting them to courses, job/volunteer opportunities and information regarding bursary and funding. With coaches registering on the system, it will help Lancashire Sport identify the need for courses based around local demand.

To add to this, the hosting of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, means that there has never been a more exciting time for sport and coaching in the UK. The recruitment and support of current and subsequent coaches at all levels is crucial if we are to create a sporting legacy that goes beyond the 2012 Games.
