Become a Walk Leader
A one day Health Walk Leader course will be provided to designated individuals wishing to be involved, enabling them to start leading walks within their own locality or for their organisation. Instead of one agency leading walks in Fylde our aim is to assist local groups and organisations to set up their own walking groups. Training will be provided FREE of charge to all individuals wishing to be involved enabling them to start to lead walks in their own locality. We are looking to set up a central database for all walks in Fylde and advertise these widely to include different agencies` work. This central database will be open to everyone in the local community and will be held by Stepping Out Health and Wellbeing, with updates and information added regularly. Mental Health Awareness- Volunteer Service Training Course Programme

More Information: This course is introducing to learners some of the causes of mental ill health. We will also explore some of the common myths and preconceptions that are frequently linked to a mental health diagnosis and the associated impact this may have on an individual's wellbeing. The course will involve group activities, work sheets, handouts, power point, video's etc to support your learning.
