Safeguarding & Protecting Children
The workshop aims to increase the awareness of safeguarding and protecting children and help coaches to recognise the signs of abuse and poor practice, and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of practice to ensure that sport provides a positive and enriching experience for children, and that your behaviour is always above reproach.
Equity in Your Coaching
Everyone should have access to sport, regardless of gender, age, race, ability, faith or sexual orientation. As a coach, you have an important role to play in ensuring this happens. The workshop will help you to apply and extend your existing skills to meet the needs of present and potential participants.
Club for All
This workshop outlines how your club can reach all sections of the community, including young people, older people, those on low incomes, disabled people and people from ethnic minorities. The Workshop must be completed to achieve Governing Body accreditation.
