Through the work of its Business Development Group, the partnership is working to attract the required investment into the sub region in the form of additional public and private sector investment into the sector to create the conditions to deliver on the 1% increasing participation target. The partnership will champion the sports sector and advocate for the value of sport, maximising synergy and ensuring sport is integrated into key regeneration programmes, facility developments, plans and policies.
How to get funding for your club, project or programme
Community Investment Fund (CIF)
Sport England's regional funding stream is called the Community Investment Fund, or CIF. This is the National Lottery funding available through and managed by the regional offices of Sport England. Funding is awarded through an open application process.
