2013 Lifetime Achievement Award Graham Lawton

2013 Winner - Graham Lawton

Graham has been a member at Fylde Cricket club for the past 50 years. He started at Fylde as a teenager and advanced through the ranks to captain the 1st eleven. He then captained the 2nd team and Sunday development side, bringing juniors through to the main teams. For many years he has umpired both senior and junior games which resulted in being chosen to umpire one of the Palace Shield senior finals and win the Palace Shield Club umpire award in 2006. In the early 1970's he was a driving force in developing the junior section of the Palace Shield which is now the envy of all other leagues in north Lancashire.
