Boccia England

The National Boccia League is Pan Impairment, so open to any disability groups. As last year there will be a separate School and Community division. Some guidelines for each are listed below.

Community League

  • A team must have a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 10.
  • 6 ends per game
  • Play each team twice (home & away-or both matches at one venue if mutually agreed)
  • Entry fee of £15 per team

Arrange your own dates, transport, venues, team and referee. (The league runs between approximately October and July)

Teams will be divided into geographical area leagues for the first stage, with the winning team qualifying through to the National Final.

School League

Guidlines for matches are the same as the Community League. For the school league there are two options for entry:

  • Option 1 - school's independently express their interest to join the league (as in previous years). Boccia England groups schools according to their location and coordinates the teams and results. (Schools' arrange their own fixtures).
  • Option 2 - where there may be school leagues that already exist or there is a suitable person locally who can coordinate the league, the league can affiliate to the Boccia England National League. The league must adhere to the same entry criteria and rules as the National League. This will enhance the existing league by providing a pathway through to a National Final.

Further details along with the pricing structure can be found on the Boccia England website.
