England line up

Leigh Sports Village Stadium will host two international rugby league matches in addition to the 2011 Gillette Four Nations match between England and Wales on Saturday 29 October.

England Knights will meet France on Saturday 15 October and England Academy will clash with the Australian Institute of Sport on Sunday 04 December, with both matches kicking-off at 3pm.

The newly created England Knights squad will feature a host of exciting youngsters from Super League clubs, including Ryan Atkins of Warrington and Wigan's Darrell Goulding, two players who featured in Four Nations, a Super League Grand Final and Challenge Cup final in 2010.

The England Knights match will be a historic occasion with it being inaugural fixture for the newly formed squad. England Academy and Australia return to Leigh Sports Village for the second year running, following England's thrilling test series win in December last year.

Speaking on the two fixtures, Leigh Sports Village Chief Executive Simon Toon said, "I am delighted that Leigh Sports Village will be hosting two more rugby league internationals this year. We had a thrilling test series between England Academy and Australia last year and combined with the Four Nations match between England and Wales, fans and the local community will get the chance to witness a feast of world class rugby and a historic occasion as England Knights play their inaugural match".
