2012 promises to be an exciting year for sport, and to kick start the new year, West View Leisure Centre in Preston are pleased offer a new swimming session specifically for swimmers with a disability.
In Partnership with Preston City Council, Preston Swimming Club, Preston Panthers Multi-Disability and the ASA swimming session will be offered to any swimmer with any disability.
The sessions will take place on Saturdays 6:30pm-7:30pm. The sessions are open to any swimmers with a physical, sensory or learning disability and will be led by qualified local swimming instructors.
The project is part of the ASA Swim Links programme which aims to link local schools and community groups to local swimming clubs to provide a seamless pathway in disability swimming, and improve and enhance opportunities for swimmers with a disability.
