The Outdoor Adventure Group are in the final 8 of the Peoples Millions and will appear on Granada Television on 25th November, when a public vote will determine whether or not we receive a massive £50,000 to improve facilities at the boathouse.
The Outdoor Adventure Group was founded in Blackpool as part of the youth services department in 1992 to provide assistance to Youth Leaders and adventurous activities for young people. This has developed over time to become the group that it is today and a registered charity, providing activities and events for all. The group is not limited to the Blackpool area but now covers the whole of the Fylde coast, responding to the needs of the wider community.
Filming at the lake is on Saturday 6th November, so you can come down and support them in their bid.
