After much success of the junior classes Organised Chaos have launched their senior classes aimed at 16 years and over. Organised Chaos teach Sokudo which is a multi-style system of martial arts.
Initially there no special clothing is required - a pair of loose track suit bottoms and t-shirt is fine.
What is Sokudo?
Sokudo is a system of martial arts that was developed by Professor Smith. It is a multi style; which means that it has been developed from elements of different styles, taking some of the best and most practical techniques and binding them together to form a very effective street defence system that is fast and adaptable. Some of the techniques found in the syllabus of Sokudo originate from the likes of Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Taekwondo, Wing Chun, Karate and Aikido.
Sokudo has a number of different elements which include:
- Self Defence
- Sparring
- Throwing
- Ground Fighting
- Kata
- Weapons
Each of these elements can be learned and used independently, however, when combined they form an extremely useful form of street defence.
Join them every Monday 7pm - 8.30pm at Little Harwood Community Centre, Whalley Old Rd, BB1 5PQ.
