Burnley SPAA have developed a vision document and delivery plan (PDF below) to work towards Burnley's 1% target of getting 693 adults doing 3 x 30 minutes of sport or physical activity; this will contribute to the Lancashire county target of 11548.
Burnley SPAA have 4 new projects to assist with meeting the above targets :
Project 1 - Community Fit Club
Project 2 - Club & Volunteer Development
Project 3 - Gymnastic & Dance Development
Project 4 - Community Programme

Burnley Sport & Physical Activity Alliance Conference
This conference will be held on Thursday 4th December 2008 at the new Turf Moor Enterprise Centre. Guest Speaker for the evening will be Paul Fletcher MBE and it will be a great chance to see what Sport & Physical Activity projects you could get involved with to increase participation in Burnley by the 1% Target.
The conference is free to attend to all with an interest in Burnley's Sport & Physical Activity Development and is being funded by Burnley Council, Burnley College & Burnley Community Network.
