Bowls

Bowls is a fast growing sport in Lancashire.  The object of the game is to roll your bowl and get it as close to the Jack (the small white ball) as possible.

Lancashire has a number of outdoor bowling greens, as well as many indoor leisure centres providing indoor bowling leagues.

Traditionally seen as a game for the 'over 50's bowls has seen a massive growth amongst young people playing the game.  An ideal sport for all of the family to get involved in and to test your skill, as well as make many new friends, why don't you roll on down to your local bowling green?
There is a number of clubs across Lancashire ranging from small social clubs to more organised clubs with junior and adult sections.
