Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a sport which can be practiced recreationally or competitively in which individuals perform acrobatic exercises, mostly on special apparatus, in order to demonstrate strength, balance, and body control. Specialist male events include the horizontal bar, parallel bars, pommel horse, vaulting, rings, and floor exercises. Female events include the balance beam, uneven parallel bars, vaulting, floor exercises, and rhythmic sportive gymnastics.
Why not take the leap of faith and explore the opportunities for gymnastics, be it for fun or competition. There are a number of clubs in the area which cater for beginners and provide the opportunity to improve and develop as gymnasts.
