Rounders, Softball & Baseball
Baseball forms the basis of these team sports. Rounders is an English version of baseball played between two teams of nine. Each team takes it in turn to bat and field. The aim is for the batting side to hit the ball and score 'rounders' by running around four bases laid out in a diamond formation. Softball is another variation of baseball played on a smaller diamond with a larger, softer ball that is pitched underhand.
If you want to try any of these sports in Lancashire, be it for fun, socially or competition then you will be sure to find an opportunity local to you.
