Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals

Fancy giving cricket a go this summer? ECB are launching 180 Soft Ball Cricket Festivals for women of all abilities to mark this summer’s ICC Women’s World Cup.

In Lancashire we have created a unique brand – Prosecco Cricket, a product that attracted lots of new women to cricket in 2016 and something we are looking to grow even bigger in 2017 and beyond! Prosecco Cricket will add value to the National brand of the Women’s Soft Ball Cricket Festivals!

There will be a glass of prosecco on arrival in a branded glass and each venue will have their own off field entertainment package, including BBQs, music, chocolate fountains and even a Beer Festival! If you took part in 2016, you can expect an even bigger and better event in 2017!

If you haven’t attended before, that's perfect we are targeting new women to cricket and we want you and your friends to have a great first experience of the game. The fun and friendly games will be 6-a-side, using a soft ball, under arm bowling is fine and the rules are designed to make the games fun, fast and easy to pick up!

What is it?
